This year, Radiothon is raising funds to improve breast cancer screening! The Chalmers Foundation has teamed up with The Daily Gleaner, New Country 92.3 FM and Rewind 93.1 FM to raise $50,000 as part of our campaign for a new 3D Digital Mammogram Machine at Horizon's Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. We have established the Patient Impact Fund to help those who need it most. This fund will help provide hospitalized patients – especially those still waiting for long-term care options to become available – to pass the time and find enjoyment this Christmas season. New hospital equipment making a difference, October 5, 2020
The Bridging Excellence Campaign for surgical and endoscopic enhancements has landed seven new pieces of equipment. This includes a Holmium Yag Laser, Portable Ultrasound with Transducers, Gamma Detection Probe, ENT Navigation System, Endoscopy Cabinets, Motility Catheter and Electrosurgical Generator upgrade.
